    The Programme at a Glance

The UNAIDS Leadership Programme for Women is part of a joint initiative that began in 2014. The programme has been tailor-designed for UNAIDS specific needs as a part of the UNAIDS Gender Action Plan and other relevant UN initiatives promoting gender parity and an enabling environment across the UN System. The design, development and delivery of the 2019 edition (V cohort) builds on the positive experiences of the previous four cohorts and the findings emerged from an Impact Assessment Evaluation conducted in August 2019. The programme continues to focus on the development of female staff in UNAIDS to lead organizational change and the delivery of UNAIDS’ strategy and vision.
